Very disappointing, we won't be back.

The location was about the only thing that was acceptable.

Uncomfortable, unclean bedding, unsafe, no water for two half days of the holiday. Broken kitchen appliances. extremely poor lighting, dark rooms, old tatty water damaged cupboards and furniture.

The best hotel I've stayed in

Very spacious for me, my husband and 3 young children. All facilities a home has with cooker, washer, kettle, toaster. I will definitely return.

It had a jucci bath but unfortunately it didn't work.

- friendliness and efficiency of the staff during check-in and check-out - Large, very clean and well maintained pool area - all day security

Overall resort is nice but the apartments...

The grounds, the pools and the proximity to the beach was great.

The apartment was very dated and needs some updating. The walls were dirty, the couches had some rips, just a bunch of little things like this. The apartment is definitely not a 4 star apartment but the grounds are. I would maybe stay in the hotels next time.

Noisy neighbors, not a lot of bars/restaurants/shops in walking distance, food at venue quite pricey for Portugal. very dark on the site - when walking in the evening to get out of the site - could do with better lighting.

What was the highlight of NAU Salgados Vila das Lagoas

Ok - but i don't think that is is worth the price.

It is very well located, easy to fly in from Faro airport. The resort is in walking distance to a blue flag beach. There are plenty of swimming pools of various depths suitable for all levels.

The apartments are beginning to become dated and I noted multiple wear and tear items. They are very clean but the furniture is basic and doesn't feel the high quality that you are paying for. I have stayed in this complex before but it was with another operator (i believe the apartment is an owner that rents it out) and is apartment was much better and homely. 3 out of the 6 nights we stayed there were 3 "party" groups that made noise from late in the night to early morning. This was extremely disappointing as there was on site security 24 hours but nothing was done to ask them to be quiet. This really changed the experience of the holiday.

The pools, pool bar for food & drinks, walk to beach & beach bar, & golf club, other hotel restaurants and short taxi ride to old albufeira town & vilamoura. Staff at the hotel, spa ‘ bar extremely helpful & friendly. Lovely relaxed place to stay. September is always just right, not too many people.

Could’ve done with a couple of dishwasher tablets or some washing up liquid. Would have loved to have been told there is an adults only beach club then the resort as a whole as we would have booked in for one day. Nothing really to complain about.

Perfect for a family environment. Beautifully kept pools and facilities. Recommended!

As a usual the pools and facilities are very well kept and clean. The 7 pools are simply amazing and the perfect environment to relax and enjoy the sun. Parking is available right in front of the apartments. Staff is very friendly and polite. Overall clean apartments. Free to use safe, hairdryer, drting rack and all kitchen appliances needed are provided.

The beds and pillows are not very comfortable. A lot of door handles and furniture it's not in the best of shapes. The toaster and the kettle were cleaned with soap previously to us using it which made them very unsafe for use.

Good family holiday

Large apartments - it is not just a holiday complex - there are long term residents in situ which explains the size of the apartments and fully equipped kitchens. Walking distance to beach. Beautifully maintained gardens and very quiet location. Booked Zoomarine and Dolphin Watching trips in advance of travelling - highly recommend.

Would recommend a car to get around. We had to taxi everywhere. Costs Euro 15 to Albufeira one way where there is plenty of activity and restaurants. The only downside is it is extremely quiet with few restaurants and amenities close by.

Plenty of space round the pool, could arrive any point of...

Plenty of space round the pool, could arrive any point of the day and get a lounger and umbrella. The apartments were spacious, clean and well equipped. The poolside food was great. Reception staff were great.

Check in is quite late at 6pm however the staff were accommodating in getting our room sooner. The only downside was the rooftop bar took 45 minutes to serve us drinks and it was empty.
